Tempe, Arizona - Jasmine Chaney won her second hurdle race of the weekend and collected one of nine regional qualifying marks as the Arizona State University track and field team completed action at the 51st Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., on Saturday evening. Chaney, who lowered her personal-best time by 0.03 seconds, also was a part of two successful relays on the day, including the victorious 4x400m relay. |

Tempe, Arizona - The 29th-ranked ASU Women’s Tennis team finished the dual season on a high note, with a strong win over in-state rival Arizona, 5-2. The conference match was the last 2009 home game for the Devils, as well as Senior Day, in which the team honored senior Laila Abdala. The match boosts the Devils to 11-8 (4-7 Pac-10), while dropping the Arizona Wildcats 10-10 (1-7 Pac 10). |

Bryan, Texas - The 20th-ranked San Diego State men’s golf team endured a lengthy rain delay in Bryan, Texas, and at The Aggie Invitational on Saturday. As a result, the day, which was originally scheduled for 36 holes, was shortened to 18 and the tournament was subsequently trimmed to 36 holes. Despite the conditions, the Aztecs shot a 4-under 356 and currently is in third place in a field where nine of the 12 teams are ranked among the nation’s top 45. |

San Diego, California - Seventh-ranked San Diego State received multiple goals from four players and scored the game’s first six goals and never looked back as the Aztecs went on to post their eighth straight Harper Cup victory over UC San Diego, 14-7, Saturday afternoon at Aztec Aquaplex. With the Senior Day win, SDSU upped its record to 22-8, while the Tritons saw their record fall to 10-19. |

Salt Lake City, Utah - The San Diego State softball game against Brigham Young originally scheduled for 7 p.m. MT tonight (Thursday) has been postponed due to snow and unplayable field conditions. The game has been tentatively rescheduled for May 1 at 8 p.m. PT, which will follow an already scheduled 6 p.m. PT contest.
