 Flagstaff, Arizona – Levi Brown is finally an Arizona Cardinal after he missed almost a week of training camp and it will cost him at least seven practices. The team’s No. 1 draft pick agreed to a six-year contract Thursday, although now he must play catch-up and prove he is ready to get on the field. |

 Phoenix, Arizona - The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today they have placed outfielder Carlos Quentin on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain. In a corresponding move, the club selected the contract of outfielder of Justin Upton. Quentin was batting .208 (45-for-216) with five home runs and 28 RBI in 71 games this season with the D-backs. He was recalled to the Majors on July 27 after a brief stint with Tucson (AAA). |
