AWC Presents Termination Letter to Softball Coach |

 Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Western College has presented AWC Head Softball Coach Pam Stone with a formal letter of termination effective June 30th. The college has identified issues and difficulties directly related to the softball program during the 2006-07 season.
The Arizona Western College termination policy provides terminated employees an opportunity to appeal the decision within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the written notice. Stone has exercised her right to appeal the decision to terminate. An interim softball coach will be appointed as soon as possible to assist students in the admission process to include letters of intent, registration, housing, recruitment, financial aid and scholarships.
