Prescott, Arizona - The Arizona Western Lady Matadors Basketball team (17-5) were cooled by Yavapai Community College (13-9) loosing by the score of 82-58.
High Scorers:
AWC: Yohanna Morton 21, Debora Dourado 13
YCC: Tehani Goldsmith 27, Jonisha Carson 20, Paris Dunford 17
AWC Head Coach Patrick Cunningham stated, “We had trouble stopping them from 2-point range and from 3-point range. We spent time before the game talking about how we didn’t want to chase them around on the perimeter, but that’s exactly what we did. Now we just have to wipe this one out of our minds, and concentrate on Cochise.”
