The Arizona Diamondbacks named Joe Robinson/Amateur Scouting Supervisor and Tony Perezchica/Minor League Field & Infield Coordinator as recipients of the sixth annual Roland Hemond Award and Joe Garagiola, Jr. Award, respectively.

Perezchica will be recognized at tonight's annual Minor League dinner at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Additionally, members of the 2015 Northwest League champion Short Season-A Hillsboro Hops and Pioneer League champion Rookie-Advanced Missoula Osprey will receive their championship rings.
 
Robinson is the recipient of the award presented annually to the individual in scouting who exemplifies the qualities of strong character, dedication to the D-backs' organization and an unfailing work ethic in the search for championship-level talent. Robinson is in his 12th season with the D-backs and first in his current role as an Amateur Scouting Supervisor for the organization, having previously served as an amateur scout for 11 seasons (2005-15). The 2016 season will be his 40th season in a scouting capacity. He was a 2009 inductee into the Great Midwest Professional Baseball Scouts Association Hall of Fame. Robinson will be presented with his award in June at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
 
Perezchica is the recipient of the award presented annually to the individual in player development who exemplifies the qualities of strong character, dedication to the D-backs' organization and commitment to excellence in the area of instruction. Perezchica is in his 14th season with the D-backs and third in his current role. He previously served as a Manager at Rookie-Advanced Missoula (2003), Single-A South Bend (2004), Double-A Tennessee (2005) and Infield Coordinator (2006-13).
 
The Hillsboro Hops won their second straight Northwest League championship in just their third season.
 
The Missoula Osprey won the Pioneer League title, their fourth as a D-backs affiliate (also 1999, 2006, '12).
