Arizona Cardinals released center Nick Leckey today. The Cardinals filled the roster spot by re-signing linebacker Brandon Johnson. Leckey became expendable due to the stellar play of undrafted rookie Lyle Sendlein who started against the Seahawks.
Leckey had been battling a knee sprain suffered in the preseason, he was declared inactive last weekend. Leckey started 11 games in 2006 and nine in 2005 after being drafted in the sixth round out of Kansas State.
