Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Cardinal’s Cornerback Antrel Rolle had two interceptions for 104 yards, including a 47-yard interception-return touchdown in the Cardinals' 48-19 win over St. Louis.
Rolle, who was named the NFC Defensive Player of Week 11 after his three-interception, two-touchdown performance, finished the season with three interception-return touchdowns, tying the team record and one shy of the NFL mark. In the second quarter, two plays after the Cardinals took a 10-3 lead, Rolle intercepted a St. Louis pass and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown to increase the lead. He added his second interception in the fourth quarter, ending a St. Louis drive by picking off a pass at Arizona's three-yard line.
In his third year from Miami, this is Rolle's second career Player of the Week Award (Week 11). Rolle is the first Cardinals player to win Defensive Player of the Week honors two times in the same season.
