 San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers (9-5) thrashed the upstart Detroit Lions (6-8) at PETCO Park 51-14 in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.
The Chargers offense was lead by Quarterback Phillip Rivers 14-21 - 142 yards and a touchdown pass; LaDainian Tomlinson had 15 carries 116 yards scoring two rushing touchdowns; Darren Sproles had 25 carries for 122 yards scoring 2 touchdowns also.
