San Diego, California - With their playoff hopes still alive, the San Diego Chargers travel to Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium for the first time ever to meet the Buccaneers in a game that has postseason implications for both teams. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 pm EST (10:00 am PST).

In San Diego’s case, a win over the Bucs combined with a Denver loss against Buffalo will set up an AFC West title game at Qualcomm Stadium on December 28. In Tampa Bay’s case, they trail division-leading Carolina by two games and are also right in the thick of the NFC Wild Card race.

The Chargers head to Tampa Bay having won 12 games in a row in the month of December, including six in a row on the road. San Diego’s last loss in December was a 23-7 season-ending loss to Denver at home in 2005. The Chargers’ last road loss in December was a 20-7 loss in Kansas City on December 24, 2005.
