San Diego, California - The San Diego Chargers completed the 2008 NFL Draft by utilizing their five draft picks. The draft landed the Chargers two cornerbacks, two running backs and an offensive tackle. Chargers Draft summary:

1^st Round - 27^th overall - Antoine Cason - CB - 6’0” 190 lbs - from the University of Arizona, Cason impressed most NFL Scouts with his impressive workouts, considered a true cover cornerback. The Sports News Southwest mock draft had projected Cason as the 32^nd overall selection.

3^rd Round - 69^th overall - Jacob Hester - FB - 5’11” 230 lbs - from LSU, Hester can play both fullback and tailback. He's a powerful inside runner and good around the goal line. The Sports News Southwest mock draft had projected Hester as the 157^th overall selection.

5^th Round - 166^th overall - Marcus Thomas - RB - 6’2” 215 lbs - from UTEP, Thomas is quick to the hole and accomplished at getting through it. The Sports News Southwest mock draft had projected Hester as the 157^th overall selection. The Sports News Southwest mock draft did not project Thomas as a draft selection.

6^th Round - 192^nd overall - DeJuan Tribble - CB - 5’9” 190 lbs - from Boston College, Tribble although undersized he displayed solid cover skills. The Sports News Southwest mock draft had projected Tribble as the 35^th overall selection (2^nd Round).

7^th Round - 234^th overall - Corey Clark - OT - 6’6” 315 lbs - from Texas A&M, Clark has good size and decent speed. The Sports News Southwest mock draft had projected Hester as the 163^rd overall selection.
