 The Chargers got an early start on signing their 2007 draft picks when Scott Chandler, the team’s fourth-round choice from Iowa, signed a four-year deal.
The Chargers drafted the 6-7, 265-pound Chandler with the 129th overall pick in April’s draft. Only one tight end in school history caught more passes than Chandler during his career with the Hawkeyes. Chandler is the first of the Chargers’ six draft picks to sign.
