SDSU qualified 15 athletes over the course of the season, matching the 2006 squad for the second-most in school history. Action begins on Friday for the Aztecs at 1:30 p.m. PT with the pole vault where four athletes will compete. Saturday competition, meanwhile, will commence for SDSU at 3 p.m. beginning with the triple jump and will conclude with the running of the 4x400-meter relay at 6:05 p.m. San Diego State enters the regional meet having not competed since taking third place at the Mountain West Conference Championships, May 14-17, in Fort Worth, Texas. |

San Diego, California - San Diego State returns to the track on Friday for the NCAA West Regional Championships following a 12-day layoff. The two-day meet, where national championship bids will be up for grabs, is set for Matador Track Complex on the campus of Cal State Northridge.
