 Las Vegas, Nevada - San Diego State (4-5) quarterback Kevin O'Connell threw 2 Tds and 196 yards to lead SDSU to a 38-30 win over UNLV (2-8). O'Connell went 17-of-23 for 196 yards with 1 interception. and threw for one interception. Brandon Sullivan rushed for 70 yards and caught for 68 for the Aztecs.
UNLV running back Frank Summers rushed for 187 yards on 26 carries. Rebels backup quarterback Travis Dixon (13-of-22) threw for 185 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the conference loss.
